First off, I would like to tell everyone that I am sorry for my lack of being here as of late. Things in the real world had been a little crazy, but I have finally got things to settle down a little. I guess, since I have said I am sorry I feel a little better about the whole being gone thing. Now, all of you who have been worried about me are wondering where I have been, I will start explaining everything. 

I followed the advice that I got from some of the people in the community, and I broke things off with Roy. I know, it was really close to the wedding date, but I had to do it. There was something deep in my gut that was telling me this wasn't what I really wanted.

He's been really angry lately, unlike anything that I have ever seen from him before, but he has to understand where I am coming from. I hope that I will be able to work things out with him so that we can remain friends. I know of a fact that I do not want to take things further with him again.

Since I broke things off with Roy, I had to get an apartment. It is really awesome and people should come over. I am happy to be on my own, but I've been getting really lonely here. I'll even cook dinner. With more free time, I've been taking some art classes at the college! Feels great to be single again..
